Thank you to everyone who took part in our consultation for Camden Town Xchange. In June and July 2025, we held a series of events to present our proposals and gather feedback from the local community and stakeholders.

We received a wide range of valuable feedback, which is now helping to shape the final designs for Camden Town Xchange.
Here’s a snapshot of what you told us:
Strong support for affordable housing, and real enthusiasm for the proposed cultural space – especially ideas like immersive theatre, exhibition spaces, and venues with food and drink offers. Many felt this could become a valuable local destination
You’d like to see more greenery, public art, and façades that reflect Camden’s character
Construction and traffic management, particularly around Parkway and Arlington Road
Good level of support for the updated designs, with many seeing them as an improvement on what’s currently on site, and saw potential for the project to bring life and energy back to this part of Camden Town
Some interest around the height and scale of the proposed buildings in relation to surrounding streets and views
Interest in how the proposals could affect local infrastructure and services such as schools, GP surgeries and Camden Town Station
What’s next
The final designs will reflect the feedback gathered throughout the consultation programme and will be submitted to Camden Council as part of a planning application in early Autumn 2025.
Following submission, Camden Council will run its own statutory consultation, offering a further opportunity for the community to have their say via Council’s planning portal.
We will be writing to all local residents and businesses, as well as our key stakeholders with the planning reference number once the application has been validated, to ensure everyone can find and comment on the application.
